That meme is good except there was no biblical isreal, which was created in 1948 by Europeans as an attempt to get jews out of our countries by giving them a homeland. (As usual they did not honor the spirit of the arrangement)
In biblical times there was a area that was home to a mixture of jews and Syrians and had to pay tribute to various neighbors until Romans conquered it and named it Judea, which is a Greek and Roman adaptation of the name "Judah". To be clear, this was a Roman province, owned by Europeans.
70 years later, the Jewish population revolted and established the Kingdom of Israel, which lasted three years, before the Romans re-conquered the province for good. After the defeat of Bar Kokhba (132–135 CE) the Roman Emperor Hadrian was determined to wipe out the identity of Israel-Judah-Judea, and renamed it Syria Palaestina.
Consider this. From Ancient times to 1948, the jews only had that land for 3 years, and even then shared it with Syrians. They only way they were ever able to have their own country required it to be taken and given to them by Europeans. In truth the strongest claim to that land is ours.
