Vetting and grassroots organizing Anonymous 10/03/2021 (Sun) 23:27:57 Id: c030f7 No. 1108
Anybody got any good suggestions for info on vetting strangers and grassroots organizing? Can be from any source, including personal experience. I'm not a leftist, but I understand they have good resources for these topics. Any suggestions on where to start looking would be greatly appreciated. Actual practical info is surprisingly hard to find.
Could do OSSINT/private investigator type to essentially run your own background checks to vet people. Look into the keyword ossint there are a lot of resources. Also red team hacking
>>1108 I'm watching this video on youtube. It discusses building communications networks. Some attention is given to radios and meshnets, but most is focused on the human element. The host goes over Paul Revere and his networking for the American Revolution. >youtube dot com/watch?v=6ZbY_ERuwCg Here is a snippet of a post from .44chan's /pol/ that I think you might find useful. I don't think there's anything wrong with using leftist tactics, as long as they work. >Communication >https://privacytools.io/ >https://prism-break.org/en/ >https://briarproject.org/ (p2p, routed through TOR, Android only, text only, offline capability) >https://signal.org/en/ (simple chat app with seamless encryption, requires phone number) >https://element.io/ (self-hostable Discord alternative) >https://www.mumble.info/ (self-hostable, FOSS, barebones voicechat) >Email - can use any provider by using PGP >https://www.openpgp.org/ >https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One-time_pad >Tactics >"Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky >"Total Resistance" by H. Von Dach >https://the-eye.eu/public/Books/campdivision.com/Sensitive/Guerrilla%20Warfare/ >https://archive.org/details/military-manuals As for vetting, I think it has to be in person. Find out where your local tradsters hang out. Don't go anywhere near groups that might be infiltrated. Look for normal, good people. Then become friends with them, simple as that. You'll "vet" them over the course of your friendship as you see what kind of person they are and if they can be trusted. They'll be friends with other based people too. Social groups form after that. In real life, not discord.
